Message from the Principal

Hello Lyon Families,

On behalf of the faculty and staff at E.E. Lyon Elementary School, I am excited to welcome each of you to the 2024-2025 school year!  Our theme for this year is “Once a Lion…Always a LEADER!”

I am looking forward to seeing our Lyon families again and meeting new families as we continue to grow! Please be sure to check our school website frequently for updates, your teacher’s website in JCAMPUS and also the weekly newsletter that is sent home.  If any of your contact information ever changes, please be sure to contact the front office to inform them of the change.

Our first bell rings at 8:05AM which signals when students can begin to arrive on campus. All students must be dropped off through carline by 8:35AM or arrive by school bus. It is very important that your child arrives to school on time so that they can eat breakfast and get to class before instruction begins.  Please follow the rules of carline and our arrival and dismissal procedures – this is imperative for the safety of our students and staff.

We welcome visitors on campus for some special events throughout the year. All visitors must be on the student’s emergency card and will need to have a valid ID to come on campus.

We encourage every parent to join our amazing Parent Teacher Association! Please go to the PTA Tab on this website and use the link provided to join!

Our entire Lyon Family looks forward to working together with each of you to ensure your child’s academic success.  Please do not hesitate to contact me or my Assistant Principal, Ms. Jamie Mills if you have any questions/concerns.

Yours in Education,
Lauryn Faciane
